All About Golden Retriever started with one simple frustration: too many golden retriever guides online are written by people who have never actually raised one.

Why We Started This Site
Golden retrievers are one of the most popular breeds in the world, and also one of the most misunderstood.
Search online, and you’ll find conflicting advice, recycled listicles, and articles that read like they were written about dogs in general and only had “golden retriever” swapped in.
We wanted to fix that; every article on this site is written by Tommy Nelson, the author and the founder of this site, who has actually lived through the specific problem being covered, whether that’s a 4 a.m. potty-training session or a vet bill nobody warned us about.
